it says one of a kind so i would bet its a deformity or something. My first (and only) red tailed catfish had a big tumor or something on his tail fin that grew in as he grew up. As far as i know though, he is healthy and happy in the aquarium of the americas in new orleans :-D they built a special transport for him and came n got him. He was 2the foot and big as a large mans arm when i gave him to Buggie Rochet and when they came to get him to start cycling the tanks after huricane katrina, he was 3+ft and as big as a large mans LEG!!
