UPDATE:

Day 2 and still not caught the little b*****d! I think this will be third time lucky tonight....

...oh jeez i'd never think of keeping him! he's getting flushed down the loo where he belongs! Horrible thing that ate my clownfish :(
Only use tank bred supplies were possible!

heyyyy don't flush him away  >:( I know they aren't the best things to have in a reef tank but he's only doing what he does naturally. Someone will take him , your LFS wil probably take him for free - better than killing him. Failing that , get him a rubiks cube.

Why kill something someone else would be happy to take off your hands?

As far as the video goes I don't know if its real or not but I do know it was uploaded by an actual research facility studying stomatopods (Mantis Shrimp) problem solving skills.
