 Just wanted to see what kind of photo editing software ppl are using. I know photoshop is great but very expensive. Has anyone used Gimp before
38 Gallon Reef w/ 20 long sump
built in fuge
6 x 39 T5 fixture
dual reactor
Super Reef Octopus skimmer
Glass hole kits for overflow and return
Eheim 1260 return
Started 12/26/10

I just use iPhoto that came with my iMac

Yea im to cheap to buy a mac i build  my computers haha. I hope to have a mac one day though.

macs are great.  I've had mine for 2 years has not frozen even once

I've had lots of experience with GiMP, and some with PS.  iPhoto does mighty well also :)

 Do you feel Gimp is effective or would i be better off going out and buying Elements

GiMP quite honestly can be just as powerful as PS, but it's not as user friendly as PS.  It'll do everything that it does though... for free :)  For a while I was actually using both, because I knew how to do things in GiMP that I didn't know how to do in PS.
