I just found out what the problem was when we went to put the first bulkhead on the nut/washer or what ever wouldn't screw off because it was old and worn out so we had to cut it off then i found another one that fit on but come to find out just a little bit ago the threads are the same so it screws on but its slighly bigger than the other one we had to cut off i mean just enough for a small drip very very small so  my dad put a few layers of teflon tape on it and it doesn't leak anymore all fixed

Thought i would let you guys know my tank was filled and started cycling yesterday

i have some bad news, ive always had trouble getting my skimmer to turn on it got unplugged today and well after messing with it for a good 2 hours i got mad and took the pump out side and smashed it to pieces lol good thing this skimmer came with the tank for free i can say ill never ever own a asm skimmer ever again
