I wish i knew maybe easier to buy pre-built.

48x24x24 is 80 gallons

Hi guys i think ill just get the reef capable 48-60 inch led's if i get that what other lights will i need or would that be sufficient enough for 120 gallon reef?

my new led fixture is going to be 160 leds :/  thats going to be a long day project
i'd do 2/1 (2 blue 1 white  )   i would mix the colours like blue and royal blue, and cool white and warm white

yeah there is "blue" leds, and "royal blue "   both are like atinics, but the royal blue is more purple

i hate that la fish guy haha, hes one of the bio balls beliver, and 1.020 salinity for a sps reef tank, and a whole bunch of other stuff
